Bear`s Den Pizzeria in Grayling

The best tasting pizza in Grayling, MI. The prices are more than you might be used to for a pizza place, but worth the extra cost.

Service is a tad slow here bit the pizza was delicious. Also we ordered the baked bread sticks with sauce. Super good stuff. Glad we stopped.

Vary rude staff the second we walked into the communist restaurant we were yelled at to leave because they didn’t like one of our group members masks. Mind you it has worked at every other restaurant in town it’s a home made mask but for some reason not good enough.

We tried to stop here to eat, but were refused service because we didn't have masks on to walk the 5 feet to a table. Worst part is, we were rudely turned away by two employees who were wearing their masks around their chin. Neither their mouth nor nose were covered. When my husband brought this to their attention, they just ignored us and went about their business. The girl picked up the phone and started talking while completely ignoring us, as if we hadn't just said "hey, you're not wearing one, why do we have to?" We were very disappointed, as this looks like a pretty great place. I understand the importance of a small business reputation so I feel sorry for the owner that I have to leave a poor review and we didn't even get to taste the food.

This place is Great. Great Food and the folks that work here are wonderful.

I live south of Lansing. Me and my wife were heading up north for a camping trip and stopped in grayling and chose this pizzeria for dinner. I was blown away by the quality of the food. I don't make it up there often but next time I'm in the area I'd definitely be a repeat customer!

We tried this place on a whim, and we're glad we did. The pizza was amazing, and the staff was really friendly. If we lived here this would be a weekly destination.

Wow! Phenomenal! This place is immaculately clean, and you can even look into the kitchen from the outside, it is spotless. Fred Bear themed. Lots of cool memorabilia to enjoy. We got the 18" "100 pounder" 100 Pepperoni's and a Lb of cheese. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Servers were terrific. Can't wait to take our friends back there, and it's only 6 miles from our home in Grayling.April 16th 2020. Thank goodness they are still open during the covid-19 thing! We picked up a pizza and large koala bread there today and it was fabulous!

Food and service was good. Best of all the place is loaded with Fred Bears big game kills with a recurve. Along with vintage bear bows. Things I've not seen ever for a Fred bear fan!!! Even if your not into Fred bear the food was good and prices weren't bad keep up the good work...

Excellent za if you are sure to order it well done but not burnt otherwise it'll be under cooked. Can eat outside with your favorite pet pooch on a nice clear sunny summer day!

The food is good, try the calzones, some of the best I've had. The only place I've been that u can get FRESH mushrooms.(same price as can)What a difference! The atmosphere is that of a Fred Bear museum, all the Bear bows on display make it worth the trip. Plus the CocaCola museum next store is a bonus!

Best specialty pizza around, affordable prices, very quick service!

I gotta tell ya that I just love sitting down and eating pizza in with my family. Beats leaning over a coffee table and luke warm food and having luke warm conversation. Ends up being the best pizza in town and a cheap date. All that Fred Bear memorabilia makes it uniquely Grayling, Michigan.

Pizza is always good but don't get the table by the front area because the phone just keeps on ringing, that is how busy this place can get.

Waitress could of waited on us faster sitting with a friend talking and on her phone while we were waiting to order not very friendly.Great pizza Loved it.

Today I ordered pasta (starts with an M), which comes with a salad and 2 garlic knots. The food was simply amazing, they made it fresh and it was the best I've had yet. The delivery driver was tired from looks, but he was really friendly and did not let his tiredness effect his good customer service skills. Way to go Bears Den!

Good sandwiches but took forever to make for takeout. Pizza was coming out faster.

My daughter wanted pizza and someone suggested the Bear's Den. Well let me tell you it was a great experience all the way around. From the service to the food. My daughter had a Personal Pan Pizza and I had the Taco Salad. They were DELICIOUS!! Everytime we visit Higgins this will be our must go to eat place.

I was visiting the area from Kalamazoo and was craving spaghetti and meatballs. After a quick search of Grayling area restaurants, I found this gem of a place. I called in a take-out order and it was delicious! The rolls were especially wonderful. I will add this restaurant to my list when visiting the area again!

This is a must stop evertime I'm in grayling...I get the 100 pounder, an 18 inch with 100 pepperoni

Outrageously overpriced, this place used to be a Buccilli's Pizza. The new owner bought it changed practically nothing on the menu except for the names of the items and jacked up the prices to about double of what buccilli's charges. ( I didn't specify when this became bears den I figured past tense would be sufficient. )

This used to be one of my favorite pizza places when I lived up north years ago. Got a chance recently to stop in for dinner. Just a good as I remember it.

Very nice environment. The staff was pleasant but the pricing of the food was a little steep in comparison to the actual taste of the food very bland. Maybe it was just a fluke will at least try there again at least one more time

People know masks are required to enter any business yet they post negative reviews because of it. I ordered the Signature pizza & it was great. It's hard to find a good pizza in our area. Will be back 👍

Very busy, long wait to be seated, no one took us to our seats, had to get our own high chair. Wait staff was over worked. But the pizza was out of this world delicious, breadsticks phenomenal! Well worth the wait and less than enthusiastic service

This place is a must visit if you are traveling through the Grayling Michigan area. Their pizza is second to none in Northern Michigan.

Definitely over priced! And the owner or GM was taking pictures and talking about leftover food, left on the table after the customers left. ODD! Right in front of us...

Food was really good. Everyone at our table enjoyed their selection. Price was reasonable and portion generous. Staff friendly. There featured item is pizza and their garlic rolls out of this world good. Cool atmosphere. Walls are all covered with Fred Bear bows. Cool!

Kinda pricey, kinda reminds me of little ceaser a bit. But it was ok pizza. It looked better than it actually was. Taste wise I'd give it a 4.3 outta 10. But Maybe my pizza I got was a bad day for them it was over cooked and very little sauce. It didn't look like some of the other images I see on here

Awesome pizza!! Such a refreshing change from chain pizza places. Huge selection of signature pizzas and well-priced!

Lunch buffet is just okay. Bummed they no longer serve their garlic bread sticks during the buffet. Not to mention they barely make enough pizza for those eating at the buffet and never much variety. However the salad bar selection is pretty good.

Pre-ordered a personal pan pizza for pickup for a coworker. Everything went smoothly. Friendly service on the phone, as well as in the restaurant when picking up my order.

Best pizza in grayling and roscommon area.

Service was good, food was great, my family really like the mama bear calzone, the waitress told it was rather large that it would be good for 2 but where we are from the mama bear was the size of a personal calzone definitely so good you want the whole thing to yourself!! The lasagna was amazing, salad not so great and the garlic knots that came with the lasagna was fantastic as well!! Definitely will be back!! And the inside with all the stuff to see is also a must!

We ordered pizza on our way to Mackinaw and the personal pan was good and crispy with dry and old chicken. Wish i had made it all veggie. The 10 inch was super moist yet delicious. Asked for pan crust but they gave us thin crust. Maybe miscommunication but no complaints. The restaurant was quite empty when we walked in but is located in a nice town.

Good pizza in a good town. First time here. The bread sticks were really good. Pizza was great too. A bit much cheese for my preference, but not enough to complain. Definitely has an original thing going on. Much more filling then it looks. Worth a visit for sure.
